Nature is by far my biggest inspiration. From the fields that surrounded me growing up to my little cottage garden in rural South Somerset where I now live, I’m always discovering something new. I love the cycle of nature as each season comes and goes – bulbs pushing up through the earth in spring, rosebuds bursting open in summer, the changing of the leaves in autumn and the hard frosts of winter.

I’m a creative through and through, always looking for a new skill to hone or returning to an old one with fresh eyes and ideas. From studying textiles and fine art at school to interior design and styling short courses in more recent years, I’m constantly developing my creativity.

2020 has been a turbulent year for us all. I have been spending more and more time in my garden; making plans, sowing seeds and watching things grow. It’s been a very grounding and meditative experience for me, bringing a sense of calm and mindfulness to the long days, weeks and months. In the future I’d like to build on this new found love, developing my skills in horticulture and maybe turning my hobby into my livelihood.

I’m using this space as a way to elaborate on this new path sharing ideas, plans and inspiration.
